How Can I Send a Message?
You can send a message in a few different ways:
- Simply click ‘Chat’ below any user’s picture right on the Search page. A Messenger box will then open. Enter your text into the designated area and either hit ‘Enter’ on your keyboard or click the ‘Send’ icon at the bottom-right of the Messenger box.
- Click your profile image at the top-right of any website page and select ‘Messages’ from the menu that appears. Select the desired user from the top-left area, compose your message in the designated field, and either hit ‘Enter’ on your keyboard or click the ‘Send’ icon located at the bottom-right of the Messenger section.
- Visit the profile of a person who interests you and click the ‘Chat’ icon. The Messenger box will then open. Enter your text into the designated area and either hit ‘Enter’ on your keyboard or click the ‘Send’ icon at the bottom-right of the Messenger box.
What Are My Messaging Limits?
Full Membership lets you send a limitless number of messages to a limitless number of members on a daily basis.
A Free Membership includes specific restrictions for messaging. You are able to send a maximum of 5 messages daily to various users, with a limit of 1 message per user.
How Long Are Messages Stored?
On a Free Membership, any unread messages are stored for just 24 hours. All messages you have read are saved in your history.
How Can I Tell If My Message Was Read?
Two green checkmarks inside the Messenger box signify that your message was read. Be aware that you can only confirm that your message was read if you have enabled either the Chataholic Pack or the Premium Dater option.
How Do I Check Incoming Messages?
You can check your incoming messages in a few ways:
- Select the ‘Read message’ button on the notification pop-up when it displays.
- Simply click ‘Chat’ below the picture of any member right on the Search page.
- Click your profile image at the top-right of any website page and select ‘Messages’ from the menu. Select the desired user from the top-left area to see their incoming messages.
What Kinds of Messages Are There?
Every message that you get could be a specific kind. To find out what kind of message you got, click the info symbol located over the message field.
